I think many women are protesting against their employees because they are treated differently than men. Their pay rates are lower, especially women that come from overseas, and who are seen as minorities. When I came to Australia, I was in that group of minorities, so I know how these women feel as I was also treated differently, maybe not in regards to my pay, but definitely in regards to how people approached me and what they percieved me to be.
